BOH was registered in Kenya in 2007 under the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) Act, and has since been involved in delivery of free medical services through medical camps, educational support through career guidance and counseling in schools in under-privileged areas, pro-bono technical support to organisations supporting HIV/TB infected and affected peoples. While national in scope, BOH has implemented programs in Nairobi, Kisumu, Kakamega, Homabay and Kajiado, and is currently seeking new and innovative partnerships towards establishing stronger health services and outreaches, health training to support quality service delivery, socio-economic interventions to improve livelihoods, provision of quality elementary schooling, shelter/rescue homes for victims of domestic violence and other vulnerable members of the society.
