ESET Endpoint Security is a multi-layered endpoint protection platform that combines machine learning, behavioural analysis, cloud reputation, and signature-based detection to protect business workstations and laptops from malware, ransomware, phishing, and targeted attacks. Known for its exceptionally low system footprint, ESET protects endpoints without the performance degradation that plagues heavier security products — making it ideal for organisations with older hardware or performance-sensitive workloads.

The multi-layered protection stack includes a pre-execution scanner that analyses files before they run, an in-memory scanner that detects fileless malware, a network attack protection module that blocks exploits at the network level, and a ransomware shield that monitors file system behaviour for encryption activity. ESET's machine learning engine uses two models — one running locally for offline detection and another in the cloud for maximum accuracy — to identify previously unknown threats.

Web filtering blocks access to malicious and policy-violating websites, while email security scans POP3 and IMAP messages for threats before they reach the user's inbox. Device control manages access to USB drives, Bluetooth devices, and other peripherals, preventing data exfiltration through removable media. Full disk encryption ensures data remains protected even if a device is lost or stolen.
