Sophos Central

Sophos Central is the cloud-based management platform that unifies administration of all Sophos security products — firewalls, endpoint protection, email security, mobile management, encryption, wireless, and server protection — from a single pane of glass. Instead of managing each security layer through a separate console, IT teams can configure policies, monitor threats, investigate incidents, and generate compliance reports from one intuitive web interface.

The platform provides real-time threat dashboards that aggregate alerts and events from across the entire Sophos deployment, enabling rapid identification and response to security incidents. Automated threat response leverages Sophos' Synchronized Security technology to coordinate between products — for example, automatically isolating a compromised endpoint while the firewall blocks communication with the associated command-and-control server.

For managed service providers and multi-site organisations, Sophos Central supports multi-tenant management with delegated administration, allowing different teams or locations to be managed under a single account with appropriate access controls. Role-based administration ensures that helpdesk staff, security analysts, and administrators each see only the functionality relevant to their role.
