Ruckus ICX switches — including the ICX 7150, ICX 7550, and ICX 7850 series — provide high-performance, stackable campus switching with the PoE budgets needed to power modern wireless networks, IP surveillance cameras, and IoT devices. Designed for enterprise campus, branch, and data center edge deployments, ICX switches deliver line-rate performance, hitless failover, and simplified management through stacking technology that allows up to 12 switches to be managed as a single logical unit.

The ICX 7150 is a compact access layer switch available in 24 and 48-port PoE+ configurations, ideal for wiring closets and branch offices. The ICX 7550 serves as a high-performance aggregation switch with 10/25GbE uplinks and support for 802.3bt (PoE++) delivering up to 90W per port for powering next-generation Wi-Fi 6E access points and PTZ cameras. The ICX 7850 is the campus core switch with 100GbE uplinks and hardware-based VXLAN for modern data center overlay networks.

ICX switches use a distributed chassis architecture in stacking mode, where any switch in the stack can serve as the master with sub-second failover if the master fails. This provides chassis-class reliability without the cost and single-point-of-failure risk of a modular chassis switch. Campus Fabric technology simplifies network operations by automating VLAN provisioning, spanning tree elimination, and traffic engineering across the switch fabric.
