Ruckus' patented BeamFlex+ adaptive antenna technology dynamically steers signals toward individual clients and away from interference, providing consistently strong connections in environments where other access points struggle — open offices, conference centres, schools, hospitals, and hotels.

The R550 is an ideal workhorse for standard office deployments, supporting Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with MU-MIMO and OFDMA for efficient multi-client handling. The R650 adds additional spatial streams for higher throughput, while the R750 and R850 target the most demanding environments with tri-band radios, 4x4:4 MIMO configurations, and multi-gigabit Ethernet uplinks that eliminate backhaul bottlenecks.

Every Ruckus AP includes ChannelFly, a dynamic channel selection algorithm that continuously scans the RF environment and selects the optimal channel based on actual throughput measurements rather than simple noise floor readings. This results in significantly higher real-world throughput compared to access points that rely on static channel planning. IoT-ready features include built-in BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and Zigbee radios for location services and IoT sensor connectivity.
